The Engineering Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager and will work with product engineering, maintenance, operations, divisional engineering teammates and outside equipment manufacturers to ensure new/existing equipment development projects are successful.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Direct and monitor all activities relating to manufacturing operations, equipment and processes.
  • Oversee design and development of equipment with the highest degree of quality and longevity competitively to OEM suppliers.
  • Multiple project level activities in the areas of Plant/Machinery improvements.
  • Existing equipment modification, enhancement and testing.
  • Manage and present design proposals for discussion and evaluation with management.
  • Evaluates cost recommendations concerning project level design activity and equipment/tooling projects.
  • Establish and communicate clear and measurable expectations of performance and provide frequent feedback to ensure the achievement of goals and personal development for employees.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience of supervision and/or project leadership experience required in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent electrical/mechanical aptitude and experience of high-speed machinery.
  • Experience of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Pension match up to 7%
