We are currently looking for experienced Welders / Fabricators to join a leading trailer manufacturer in Northern Ireland. Our client is a well-established name in the industry, known for producing high-quality heavy-duty trailers. This is a practical, shop-floor role for someone who takes pride in clean welds and structural integrity.

The Role

  • Fabrication: Mark out, cut, and shape steel components using saws, benders, and torches.
  • Welding: Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel (and occasionally stainless) to build heavy-duty frames and axles.
  • Assembly: Use jigs and fixtures to assemble trailer parts accurately before final welding.
  • Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings to ensure all measurements and specifications are spot on.
  • Quality & Safety: Inspect your own welds for penetration and finish, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven Experience: A solid background in MIG welding and heavy metal fabrication (experience in the transport or agricultural machinery sector is a big plus).
