We are seeking a commercially astute and strategic Finance Director to lead financial operations, drive business performance, and support long-term growth. You will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a growing business, access to career growth and development opportunities, a salary of £85,000 per annum and comprehensive benefits package.
You will be responsible for shaping the financial strategy, ensuring robust financial management, and providing insights to guide key decision-making.
Main Responsibilities
- Developing and executing the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives
- Overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management
- Providing strategic financial insights to the senior leadership team and board
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), and tax laws
- Implementing financial controls, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and governance
- Driving financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support business growth and profitability
- Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors
- Leading and developing the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and digital transformation within finance
Qualifications
- A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive post-qualification experience
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Deep understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management
