Precious Homes is seeking a Nurse to work in Maisemore, England, GB.

Deanwood Lodge is situated in the tranquil and picturesque village of Maisemore, Gloucestershire, a new and beautifully designed home set amongst finely landscaped gardens. The service takes pride in putting residents' needs and choices first, maintaining strong local community links, and creating a sense of belonging for our residents. Sculpted gardens, enclosed courtyard, and covered activities areas provide ideal settings for regular coordinated activities. Inside, the home offers a personal, homely environment including a variety of spacious lounges, equipped with satellite plasma televisions, quiet lounges, and dining rooms bringing a choice of surroundings and atmosphere. Nutritional home-cooked meals are prepared using fresh ingredients.

Provides Nursing and Dementia care, specifically tailored to the individual; long-term care for those who require daily care; respite care enabling close ones a break, post-operative care, and end of life/palliative care.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the delivery of quality care – continually assessing our residents’ needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life.
  • To ensure that care plans are accurate and regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Ensure the resident care is of the highest quality by actively leading the shift and ensuring policies and procedures are followed. Liaise with Manager if changes are required in any procedures to ensure the smooth running of the Home and highest quality care is maintained.
  • Medication has been dispensed in a clinical manner according to guidance of NMC protocols.
Qualifications:
  • General nursing training and general nurse registration Level 1 (RGN or RMN Qualified).
