Planet Recruitment is growing, and we're looking for an ambitious and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Engineering division in Oxford.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than just a standard recruitment role.

You'll have the opportunity to develop your own market, build long-term relationships with clients and candidates, and work across the permanent, temporary and contracting engineering markets.

Whether you already have recruitment experience or come from a strong sales background, we're looking for someone with the hunger, resilience and ambition to build a successful desk.

The Opportunity

As a Recruitment Consultant within our Engineering division, you'll be responsible for developing relationships across your specialist market and managing the full recruitment lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include

• Building and developing relationships with Engineering candidates and clients.
• Managing the full recruitment process from initial introduction through to placement.
• Interviewing and qualifying candidates to understand their skills, experience and career ambitions.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Creating engaging job adverts and marketing campaigns.
• Networking within your specialist market to build the Planet Recruitment brand.
• Providing expert advice and support to both clients and candidates.
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates.
• Developing long-term relationships that generate repeat business.
• Managing and maintaining accurate records on our CRM system.
• Working towards achievable activity, performance and revenue targets.
• Keeping up to date with developments and trends across the Engineering marketplace.

Experience in recruitment or sales would be advantageous, but is not essential.
