The Community Sales Advisor will play a leading role in delivering the net subscriber numbers via events, promotions and field sales in communities across Wales, predominantly South Wales. The Community Sales Advisor will promote Ogi services, and be actively involved in communities, building engagement with the primary objective of selling services through venue, events and door to door activity, to consumers in both the residential and small business sectors.
The Community Sales Advisor will work closely with the Field Sales Manager suggesting events and activity to drive sales. To bring the products to life, the Community Sales Advisor will be a competent brand ambassador and sales professional who, through their expertise and knowledge, is capable of delivering sales to the business. This candidate should aspire to being a ‘broadband guru/sales expert’ within the areas they are working, and have immaculate sales presentation skills. This candidate needs to be a proven sales person. Understanding of sales technique and needs based selling to achieve positive customer outcomes is essential.
The successful candidate will be KPI driven, thrive on working independently and have experience of working in a field sales role. Customer experience and quality of service will be central to their interactions. The Community Sales Advisor will be ambitious, energetic, customer centric, results orientated and a team player.
The Community Sales Advisor role will include, but not be limited to:
- Delivery of all KPIs including: leads, sales volume, drop out, early churn, product and package blend, cost of acquisition.
- Carry out a high volume of venue, events and door to door sales activity.
- Provide regular ‘insight and learnings’ from field activity to the Field Sales Supervisor and wider team, pro-actively monitoring and analysing metric, customer offer strategies to identify opportunities for activity optimisation and to inform future activity.
- Develop relationships and brand awareness across a range of local partners, community institutions, businesses, charities, events and shopping/destination venues.
- ‘Live’ the company values at all times and bring them to life in a meaningful way for the rest of the organisation, communities and customers.
- ‘Think Customer’, providing an exceptional customer experience across all activities, putting the customer at the heart of what you do.
- Stay abreast of all product information and competitor activity.
- Highlight new business opportunities and drive growth beyond the plan.
- Act as an internal/external expert on venues, events and field sales.
- Use CRM systems and others to track and manage sales and consumer information (taking into account GDPR implications).
- Attend regular meetings with the Field Sales Manager, reviewing performance, sharing ideas and insights.
