NEW QUALITY ENGINEER IN ANDOVER.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to take ownership of product quality, continuous improvement and quality compliance within a high technology manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on ISO 7 cleanroom operations.
Reporting to the Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing the company's Quality Management Systems whilst working closely with Production, Process Engineering and other departments to promote a strong quality culture.
Responsibilities as an Quality Engineer in Andover.
- Supporting compliance across AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 7 cleanroom standards.
- Developing and maintaining Quality Manufacturing Plans and PFMEAs.
- Supporting the development and review of cleanroom procedures, SOPs and assembly instructions.
- Conducting internal audits, quality spot checks and inspections across production.
- Leading investigations into product quality issues, including containment, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Using problem solving methodologies including 8D, CAPA and 5 Whys.
- Monitoring cleanroom performance and ensuring personnel adhere to cleanroom procedures and best practice.
Requirements as an Quality Engineer in Andover.
- A HNC or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline would be advantageous, particularly Electronics Engineering, as would a Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt.
- Internal auditing against ISO 9001, AS9100D or ISO 13485.
