Technical Writing Developer Advocacy Community Building Public Speaking SQL & Data Analytics Content Strategy API Documentation

As a Developer Relations Engineer at Nexalytica, you will be the voice of our platform in the data and developer communities. You will create tutorials, write technical content, speak at conferences, and build relationships with the people who evaluate, adopt, and champion analytics tools.

Your work will shape how the world discovers and understands Nexalytica. You will produce documentation, sample projects, and integration guides that make it effortless for teams to connect their databases and start getting value from the platform. You will also gather feedback from the community and bring it back to our product and engineering teams.

This role is ideal for someone who has lived in both the engineering and communication worlds. You understand what it feels like to wrestle with a poorly documented API or an overhyped product -- and you want to make sure Nexalytica is neither of those things.

What you'll bring

You are a natural communicator who can explain complex technical concepts clearly, whether in a blog post, a conference talk, or a GitHub discussion. You have a genuine curiosity about data analytics, AI, and the tools people use to make decisions.

  • 3–5 years of experience in developer relations, technical writing, or software engineering.
  • Ability to write clear, honest, and technically accurate content.
  • Comfort with SQL, databases, and data analytics concepts.
  • Experience speaking at meetups or conferences (or a strong desire to start).
  • Familiarity with modern AI/ML concepts and conversational interfaces.
  • A portfolio of technical writing, tutorials, or open-source contributions.

We believe the best advocacy comes from people who genuinely love what they represent. We will give you the support and freedom to build a DevRel programme you are proud of.

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity.
  • Fully remote within the UK with flexible schedule.
  • Generous travel budget for conferences and community events.
  • £2,500 annual learning budget.
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • Private medical insurance and pension scheme.
