Job Skills

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Nexalytica, you will build the interfaces and backend systems that bring our AI-powered analytics to life. From the conversational chat experience to the drag-and-drop dashboard builder to real-time streaming visualisations, you will own features end-to-end.

You will work across the stack -- crafting responsive, accessible frontends in React and Next.js, designing performant APIs in Node.js, and optimising database queries against PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and BigQuery. You will collaborate directly with AI/ML engineers to integrate intelligent capabilities into the product seamlessly.

We are a product-driven engineering team. You will participate in design reviews, shape technical decisions, and ship directly to customers on a fast cadence. This is a role for someone who takes pride in building software that feels intuitive and works reliably at scale.

What you'll bring

You are a versatile engineer who cares about the full picture -- from pixel-perfect UI to database performance. You write clean, testable code and you think carefully about the humans who will use what you build.

  • 3–6 years of full-stack development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Solid backend experience with Node.js and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Experience building data visualisation components or working with charting libraries.
  • Comfort with WebSockets, streaming data, and real-time UI patterns.
  • A portfolio or GitHub profile that demonstrates your craft.

We believe great products come from engineers who are supported, trusted, and given room to do deep work.

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity.
  • Hybrid working from our Birmingham office with flexible remote days.
  • £2,500 annual learning and conference budget.
  • Latest hardware and tooling of your choice.
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • Private medical insurance and pension scheme.
