Job Skills
As a Product Designer at Nexalytica, you will shape how people interact with their data. You will design the conversational analytics experience, the dashboard builder, the data visualisation system, and every touchpoint in between. Your work will determine whether a first-time user feels empowered or overwhelmed – and at Nexalytica, we always choose empowered.
You will partner with engineers and AI researchers to solve genuinely hard design problems: How do you present a statistical anomaly to someone who has never taken a statistics class? How do you make a drag-and-drop dashboard builder feel as natural as arranging photos? How do you design trust into an AI-generated answer?
This is not a role where you receive fully specified requirements and push pixels. You will research user needs, define interaction patterns, build prototypes, test with real customers, and iterate alongside engineering. We need someone who thinks in systems, sweats the details, and cares deeply about making complex things feel simple.
What you'll bring
You are a designer who is energised by complexity. You have experience designing data-rich interfaces and you understand that simplicity is not the absence of information – it is the result of careful, deliberate choices.
- 4–6 years of product design experience, ideally in analytics, data tools, or enterprise SaaS.
- A portfolio showing end-to-end design work on complex, information-dense products.
- Expert-level proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems.
- Comfort with data visualisation principles and charting best practices.
- Strong user research skills and a habit of validating assumptions with real users.
- Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
We believe the best design happens when designers are deeply embedded in the product team and given real ownership over outcomes.
- Competitive salary + meaningful equity.
- Hybrid working from our Manchester office with flexible remote days.
- £2,500 annual learning and conference budget.
- Latest hardware and design tooling.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
- Private medical insurance and pension scheme.
