The Opportunity
- Assist in running the day-to-day order fulfilment operations for EMEA and other regions as assigned. Day-to-day operations include customer service, processing of customer orders, logistics and delivery tracking, order support, and interaction with supply chain partners.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all order-related issues across EMEA, driving timely resolution of complex customer, operational, and cross-functional challenges.
- Participate in order management initiatives, partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance to improve order accuracy, fulfilment performance, and customer experience.
- Receive, prioritise, and process customer orders; schedule and release orders for shipment according to sales policy and customer requirements.
- Investigate and resolve complex customer complaints including RMA's and reverse logistic issues.
- Adhere to company sales order processing guidelines and maintain accurate computer system input, invoice and report output, and system operation procedures.
- Assist in developing and monitoring operating goals and objectives.
- Facilitate interaction between customer service, warehouse, accountants, credit managers, sales, and marketing.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years relevant order management experience.
- Based in The Netherlands or UK with full right to work.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
- Prior order management / order fulfilment / supply chain experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
- Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports.
- Knowledge of procedures and documentation for the processing and placement of retail customer orders.
- Ability to analyse and solve problems including RMA's and reverse logistic issues.
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
