We are seeking someone with experience in control software development and IT programming. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, with a background in life sciences, food and beverage, or chemicals industries, and a passion for developing innovative control systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test control software in DCS or PLC/SCADA environments.
- Design and code complex control schemes using Function Block Diagram (ideally IEC 61131-3/61499 standards).
- Apply understanding of ISA S88 standard, specifically control and equipment module design.
- Design and implement industrial user interfaces (e.g., faceplates, charts, parameter entry screens).
- Utilise control system theory in practical applications.
- Develop complex applications in high-level programming environments (e.g., C, SQL, Python).
- Work closely with users to generate design specifications and transform them into maintainable code.
- Apply structured design methodologies and tools (e.g., UML, Yourdon).
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in control software development (DCS, PLC/SCADA).
