Our client, a leading multinational information technology services and consulting company is recruiting for a Senior Engineer to join their business in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:
- Promote and uphold the company values and procedures.
- Promote and adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental best practice.
- Work to standards, processes & procedures, ensure rigour, resilience and continuous improvement in solutions, meeting all regulatory requirements, conforming to specifications, quality and certification requirements.
- Support the technical compliance, verification and validation activities of all contractual, statutory and legal requirements.
- Work closely with the design, engineering, quality and production teams to ensure the most cost effective solution is developed, compliant to requirements and legislation. Ensure solutions are tolerant of the environment in which they operate.
Tasks:
- Manage budget for delivery of own work packages.
- Produce engineering technical documents.
- Produce engineering calculations to substantiate product designs (eg stress/HVAC).
- Provide engineering support for development reviews (eg. PDR, CDR).
- Produce safety documentation, including hazard logs.
- Produce technical / procurement specifications for sub-contract suppliers.
- Produce test schedules / reports and support testing activities.

- Broad understanding of manufacturing techniques including, sheet metal fabrication, riveting, bonding and welding.
- Ability to work accurately and at pace.
Education:
- Essential to be qualified to degree level in Engineering or Apprenticeship with sufficient experience in the field.
- Desirable to have made progress towards achieving Chartered status or equivalent professional accreditation.
Experience:
- Development of technical documentation.
- Planning and delivery to schedules.
- Beneficial to have experience supporting development of engineering solutions.
