You’ll be an SAP project manager with proven experience in delivering major SAP projects to large corporate customers. Being the point of focus for our clients, you will take responsibility for and execute large scale change utilising a formal project management methodology such as SAP Activate or Prince2. Having a keen interest in SAP, you’ll understand the high-level concepts and business flows around the SAP ERP suite – ideally the latest S/4 HANA version.
You're an energetic leader, motivator and collaborator, a credible and concise communicator who is an expert at taking clients on a journey from business case through to benefit realisation – guiding and coaching along the way – resulting in an A-Grade programme.
What you’ll be doing...
You’ll be working with some of the best consultants around the globe in delivering SAP based transformation programmes to the highest standard. Thriving in a can-do environment, you’ll use your experience of running end-to-end SAP projects to juggle the appropriate workstreams ensuring everything delivers to your plan.
Keeping the customer at the centre of delivery, you’ll work to excel and overdeliver ensuring your colleagues and peers remain front of mind for anything SAP or business transformation. The customer experience is key to everything you do.
Experience you will have: -
- 5 years+ experience working in a dynamic project management environment, ideally delivering complex SAP projects, using a formal project delivery framework such as SAP Activate or Prince2
- Responsibility for the delivery of a minimum of 2 full SAP project lifecycles, across a variety of modules. Preferably utilising the latest SAP version - S/4HANA
- Business change and technology transformation experience – ideally utilising SAP
- A proven track record of managing large cross-functional and 3rd party teams in multiple locations around the globe
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills and ability to effectively engage and influence on a global level
- A proven ability to manage and lead large scale transformation programmes, budgets, resources and 3rd parties
- Managed, and been responsible for, significant budgets (over £15m)
- Experience in creating detailed project plans for complex projects that include multiple suppliers.
- Sound knowledge a variety of SAP core modules (high level concepts)
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the business hierarchy
- Experience working for a major consultancy is highly desirable
Qualifications you will have: -
- Relevant project management qualifications - Prince2/MSP/PMP/Agile etc
- Ideally experience/certification in SAP Activate
- Ideally some form of leadership experience
Day to day responsibilities
- Be responsible for the overall delivery of an SAP project – timescales, budgets, quality and benefit delivery
- Work closely with technical leads to ensure the solution meets the requirements of the client
- Work with change management to transition the business to a new way of working, driving a positive change environment and culture of diversity.
- Control budgets and spend against the programme budget
- Managing plans, as well as prioritising and negotiating at a senior level within business functions to ensure the programme delivers the expected objectives
- Act as a focal point for key stakeholders – build and maintain strong relationships for the good of the programme
- Identifying and communicate risks, concerns, issues, dependencies, blockers and initiate the appropriate escalations or mitigating actions.
- Facilitate a high performing delivery team
- Break down organisational barriers and resistance to change, leading by example
- Work closely with the account management / sales teams to uncover new requirements from clients
- Be responsible for new hires into the project team
- Contribute to the wider Limelight organisational goals and programmes
