Architecture & Delivery Lead in London

You’ll be an SAP Delivery Lead with proven experience in delivering major SAP projects for large corporate customers. Being a critical point of focus for our clients, you will take direct responsibility for Solution Design & Delivery on business transformation programmes, often at global scale, based on Limelight's delivery methodology. With a strong background in architectural principles and SAP based solution delivery leadership you’ll have a clear understanding of the implementation lifecycle for transformation Programmes based on SAP and have demonstrable experience leading delivery teams from initial discovery and technical scoping work through solution design and implementation right through to successful transition into live service.

What you’ll be doing...

You’ll be working with some of the best consultants around the globe in delivering SAP based transformation programmes to the highest standard. Thriving in a can-do environment, you’ll use your experience of managing major solution workstreams on SAP projects to build and lead strong teams that successfully deliver against programme plans. Keeping the customer at the centre of delivery, you will focus on value at all times, building client trust through successful delivery. The customer experience is the core of everything you do.

Experience you will have: -

• 10+ years of experience in delivery roles on SAP based transformations with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Solutions & Architecture, specifically S/4HANA and associated Line of Business Solutions.
• Leading Application Architecture decision making within transformation programmes and ensuring alignment amongst key stakeholders.
• Significant experience of leading 'Fit to Standard', Design & Build work on SAP Programmes.
• A proven track record of managing SAP Delivery teams in a variety of programme delivery models - e.g. single supplier, mixed 3rd party and client resources etc.
• Experience in dynamic project management environments, delivering complex SAP projects within a variety of industries & businesses.
• Responsibility for leading delivery work for a minimum of 2 full SAP project lifecycles, across a variety of modules with at least one significant SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills and ability to effectively engage and influence within a programme context and at all business levels.
• Experience working for a top tier consultancy organisation is highly desirable.

Skills / Qualifications you will have: -

• Strong experience of SAP Activate
• Solution Architecture (beneficial qualifications - TOGAF/Zachman or similar)
• Project management (desirable qualifications - Prince2/MSP/PMP/Agile etc.)
• Experience of leading delivery workstreams

Day to day responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall delivery of Architecture & Solution related work on major projects including driving delivery to plan and at high quality.
• Work closely with client and 3rd party teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
• Work with senior stakeholders and peers to ensure delivery work operates as an integral team within a broader transformation team.
• Forecast and control workstream effort and capacity.
• Managing workstream plans and working closely with Programme Management teams to ensure progress and challenges are transparently managed.
• Act as a focal point for Solution Architecture & Delivery for key stakeholders – build and maintain strong relationships for the good of the programme.
• Identifying and communicate risks, concerns, issues, dependencies, blockers and initiate the appropriate escalations or mitigating actions.
• Support the creation & retention of high performing delivery teams.
• Work closely with the account management / sales teams to uncover new requirements from clients.
• Be responsible for new hires into the project team
• Contribute to the wider Limelight organisational goals and programmes
