About the role: The Support Analyst / Consultant role will be office based in their Sutton Coldfield office, supporting customers using the company’s software, in a 2nd line support role, building a strong technical awareness of the full technical skillset. Working closely with other teams and developers, sharing knowledge and collectively resolving customer queries and documenting the process. The role will involve supporting distributed and web-based applications written in PHP, MySQL. The role could develop into joining the development team or doing some on-site consultancy with customers implementing business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support of various web-based business applications written in PHP, MySQL
- Provide quality assurance and resolve any queries
- Prioritise resolution of configuration and deployment issues
- Documentation of the configuration process of the software products to help with further project implementation
- Updating User Support guides and expanding the Support Knowledge base
- Root cause analysis
- Any other related duties as required by the business, including analysis and advising the customer on best practice
Essential Technical Skills:
- Previous support experience of distributed or web-based systems developed in PHP, MySQL
- IIS & Web Business Applications
- Microsoft technologies
- Data Analysis
