An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Semiconductor Process Development Engineer to join a leading international client at their Glasgow facility.

This position is part of the Technology Development team and focuses on optimising semiconductor processes to ensure that module-level specifications are met for discrete products.

The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, possessing strong technical expertise and analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop essential process modules in areas such as patterning, etching, deposition, or metrology, ensuring they meet the required specifications for performance and reliability.
  • Engage in process optimization, utilizing design of experiments (DOE), data analysis, and conducting defect and failure analysis.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics.
  • Experience in defining and optimizing process modules, particularly in patterning, etching, deposition, and metrology.
  • Familiarity with DOE and statistical analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience with semiconductor process equipment is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to produce comprehensive technical reports.
  • A Bachelorâs degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
