We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused HGV Driver to join our team at the Buildit Cam Branch.

The Role

This is a varied position offering more than just driving responsibilities. You'll play a key role in delivering products to customers while supporting the branch team when not out on deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver goods safely, efficiently, and professionally to customer sites.
  • Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
  • Carry out pre- and post-use vehicle checks.
  • Maintain delivery documentation and vehicle records.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required.
  • Support yard operations, customer service, and general branch duties during quieter driving periods.
  • Follow all road traffic legislation and company procedures.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous delivery driving or similar experience.
  • Strong driving skills with a commitment to safety.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable

  • HIAB licence (preferred but not essential – full training can be provided).

Working Hours

Week 1

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm

Week 2

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm
