- We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven
Regional Director to lead and develop our branch network across the South West region.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an ambitious individual with a proven track record in multi-site management, team development, operational excellence, and driving business growth within the builders merchant, construction supply, or related sectors.
As Regional Director, you will be responsible for the performance, profitability, and strategic direction of multiple branches, ensuring exceptional customer service, strong commercial results, and the continued development of our people.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Driving regional sales growth, profitability, and overall business performance.
- Leading, coaching, and developing Branch Managers and leadership teams.
- Creating a high-performance culture focused on customer service and operational excellence.
- Supporting branches to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Identifying opportunities for growth, improvement, and increased market share.
- Working closely with senior leadership to implement business strategies and initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety standards.
- Managing escalated customer issues and supporting effective resolutions.
- Monitoring operational performance and implementing improvements to maximise efficiency.
- Conducting regular branch visits to provide leadership, support, and guidance.
- Leading regional meetings, projects, and development initiatives.
- Supporting company-wide activities, including annual stocktakes and operational projects.
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in a senior management role within a Builders Merchant or related industry.
- Proven success managing multiple locations and delivering commercial results.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Commercial awareness with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience driving operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
