House of CB is a global fashion brand celebrated for its empowering, feminine designs and statement‑making silhouettes. With a cult following built through powerful visuals, trend‑defining campaigns, and a bold social media presence, we're continuing to grow our team with people who share our passion for fashion, creativity, and excellence.
We're looking for a Senior SEO & GEO Manager based in London to own organic search end‑to‑end — across traditional search engines and the new wave of AI‑powered search experiences. You'll be the in‑house expert on how House of CB is discovered, ranked, and cited online, working across our website, brand, and content to drive qualified traffic and protect our visibility as search evolves.
What you'll do:
- Own the SEO and GEO strategy for app.houseofcb.com end‑to‑end — technical, on‑page, content, and off‑page.
- Lead technical SEO across the site: crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, redirects, canonicals, robots.txt, sitemaps, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
- Drive Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) so House of CB is cited and surfaced across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and emerging AI search tools — through entity strategy, citable content, schema, and AI crawler accessibility.
- Lead ecommerce SEO across category pages (PLPs), product pages (PDPs), faceted navigation, product feeds, and collection landing pages — balancing crawl budget, index hygiene, and conversion.
- Run keyword and topic research at scale, mapping demand to our category, product, and editorial content.
- Brief and shape content — product copy, landing pages, editorial, blog — so it ranks and earns AI citations.
- Manage international and multi‑region SEO, including hreflang, regional targeting, and localised content priorities.
- Partner closely with our frontend developer to scope, brief, and QA technical SEO work, and with our paid media partners to align organic and paid strategy.
- Monitor performance across Google Search Console, GA4, Bing Webmaster Tools, and AI search visibility tools — and report on organic traffic, rankings, citations, and revenue impact.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates, AI search shifts, and emerging best practices, and translate them into action for the business.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of SEO experience, ideally with at least some of that in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle ecommerce.
- Deep technical SEO expertise — you can audit a site, diagnose issues, and write the brief that gets them fixed.
- Hands‑on experience with GEO and AI search optimisation — you understand how LLMs and AI search experiences select, cite, and surface content, and how to influence that.
- Confident with the full SEO toolkit: Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush, Sitebulb or similar, and AI visibility tools (e.g. Profound, Peec, Otterly, AthenaHQ).
- Comfortable working directly with developers — you can read the code well enough to know what's possible, and brief precisely enough to get it shipped.
- Proven ability to grow organic traffic and revenue for an ecommerce brand at scale.
- Strong communicator who can translate technical SEO into commercial language for senior stakeholders.
- Genuinely plugged into the fashion and culture landscape, with instinct for how our customer searches and discovers brands like ours.
- Proven experience growing a brand's backlink profile through digital PR, outreach, and partnerships — and the judgement to spot links worth chasing vs. links worth disavowing.
