We here at Grounds Care Group have a great opportunity for a Full Time Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our busy but friendly team in the Leicester & Surrounds Areas. We are offering a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum / £12.02 an hour to £25,500 per annum / £12.26 per hour (dependent on skills & experience), on a permanent contract.
About Grounds Care Group: We carry out Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Improvement Works, Bulk Waste Removal, Japanese Knotweed Treatments, Gritting/Snow Clearance and Winter Maintenance Services for our multiple Clients across the UK.
Operative Responsibilities: It is likely that no two days will be the same, as you will be covering grass cutting, strimming, shrub, bed and hedge maintenance, leaf clearance, planting, turfing, gritting and snow clearance. You will be responsible for general grounds maintenance using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery. You will need to be a team player and be comfortable working alongside others, but also on your own. This is a physically demanding job role, working outside in all weather.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in Grounds Maintenance.
- PA1 / PA6 Certificates.
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- Be a Team Player and Demonstrate Initiative.
