Grounds Care Group carries out Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Improvement Works, Bulk Waste Removal, Japanese Knotweed Treatments, Gritting/Snow Clearance and Winter Maintenance Services for our multiple Clients across the UK and are now seeking an enthusiastic surveyor to join our team to cover the South East region to carry out invasive weed surveys.
Duties:
- To carry out site surveys of residential and commercial properties to identify the presence of Japanese Knotweed and other invasive weeds.
- Preparing and submitting reports with site observations, photographs and recommendations.
- To provide technical specifications for project plans and costing.
- Liaise with our operations teams and our clients.
- Promote best practice in biosecurity and vegetation management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in surveying in a related field is preferred.
- Experience in horticulture or ecology would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
- A willingness to travel.
- Full UK driving licence.
