We are looking for electricians to join our team in London and Greater London! Find an Expert is a platform where we connect service providers with customers. Jobs will be provided through the app based on your own postcode and you will have the flexibility to accept or reject jobs. The role will involve attending pre-booked customer appointments to efficiently undertake a variety of indoor and outdoor electrical tasks ranging from fixing lights and switches, heating and cooling, fire alarms, to new fuse box, rewiring or appliance installation. Flexible working hours and immediate start positions available.

Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of electrical systems
  • Install and repair wiring and electric fuse box with attention to existing infrastructure
  • Repair or replace damaged lights, sockets etc.
  • Install and repair domestic appliances (e.g. electric hob, cooker, electric showers, fire alarms etc.)
  • Install and service hot water systems etc.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an electrician
  • Solid understanding of power systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
  • Working knowledge of electrical appliances
  • Ability to handle electric tools and equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly with a great deal of patience
  • Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
  • Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship
  • Valid license to practice the profession
