Responsibilities

  • Provide, both buy-in and buy-out, administration services to customers, working to agreed targets.
  • Put the member experience at the heart of all member transactions.
  • Interpret and apply Trustee membership movements during buy-in administration.
  • Complete and check casework, providing feedback.
  • Resolve customer enquiries (oral and written).
  • Collate and escalate Trustee and client enquiries (oral and written).
  • Draft non-standard correspondence in response to customer and client enquiries.
  • Collate and analyze data, produce routine reports.
  • Perform and issue pension calculations, including manual calculations.
  • Check and review Trustee’s pension calculations during buy-in administration.
  • Carry out projects and ad-hoc activities as determined by your Team Leader.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, Trustee administrators, and clients.

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

  • Strong experience in an administrative role is essential.
  • Prior telephony-based customer service experience is essential.
  • Previous experience as a Pensions Administrator within Defined Benefits Pensions is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Bulk Purchase Annuities is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and capability to follow defined processes and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills.
