£38,000-£45,000 basic salary plus 20% bonus

Are you a hands‑on sales leader who enjoys coaching people and turning targets into results?
Elite People is recruiting a Sales Team Manager for a growing business providing fuel and fleet solutions to business customers. This is an opportunity to shape a new‑business sales team and play a key part in its continued growth.
You will lead a team of Sales Consultants, helping them build pipeline, improve conversion and win new customers. You will be close to the day‑to‑day activity, listening to calls, coaching individuals and creating a team culture that combines clear expectations with practical support.
The role
- Lead and develop the team to achieve and exceed new‑business sales targets.
- Turn business goals into clear daily, weekly and monthly activity targets and KPIs.
- Deliver call coaching, regular one‑to‑ones and individual development plans.
- Use CRM data to track pipeline, conversion and productivity, identifying where support is needed.
- Address underperformance constructively while maintaining sales quality and compliance.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and training, working with wider teams to improve lead flow and the customer experience.
About you
- Experience leading a sales team in a high‑volume, target‑driven environment, with a record of delivering results through others.
- A strong understanding of outbound sales, pipeline management and conversion.
- Practical experience of call coaching, developing salespeople and managing performance.
- Confidence using CRM systems and sales reporting to make decisions.
- An organised, commercially aware approach, with the ability to motivate people and hold them accountable.
