We have an exciting role available for a People Advisor within the People Team, based at our Head Office in Shirley, Solihull. You will play a vital part within our small and friendly team, promoting best practice and company values for all people activities across our branches/offices and with our 400+ colleagues.

The Person

The successful candidate should have strong relationship building skills and have a desire to promote positive employee relations with an emphasis on good communication. Experience of working at Advisor level is essential, whilst experience working with a HRIS would be beneficial.

Key Tasks

  • Promote the culture and values that foster a positive working environment and best practice
  • Recruitment coordination
  • Provide advice to managers on all aspects of employee relations including disciplinary, absence, grievance, and performance matters
  • Dealing with various People queries throughout the business
  • Support training coordination and apprenticeships
  • Assist in the delivery of key projects
  • Promote and improve The People services
  • Support the successful delivery of all People processes, policies and systems
