What you'll do:
As an Assistant Chief Engineer, you'll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests. You will be responsible for ensuring the Engineering maintenance is compliant with legislation, protects public safety, and hotel equipment is up to standard. This will include mobilising and inspiring the Engineering team members to build a high performing team to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience. You will also manage operational costs and profitability and drive improvement in guest satisfaction as well as monitoring and improving Engineering practices, policies and procedures to ensure a seamless 24/7 operation and Engineering service. The successful candidate will, in partnership with the Area Director of Engineering, support the whole engineering team through recruitment, mentorship, wellbeing and personal development, all to ensure the success of our employees.
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment
- ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in Engineering or Building Services, mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
- Extensive experience in areas such as construction, plumbing, carpentry, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
