What you'll do

The Ultimate Leaders Programme is a dynamic opportunity underpinned around our ‘We Care’ culture designed to fast-track you in achieving a supervisory role upon completion of the programme. During the programme you will work in one of our world renowned hotels and will be supported by our senior leaders, to develop the technical and behavioural skills aligned to becoming a hospitality specialist.

During your time as a ULP you will also gain exposure of an array of training material delivered by our Learning & Development team, supported through our Dorchester Collection Learning Academy. When you join us as a ULP you will have the opportunity to work across our Dorchester Collection UK hotels, you may decide to be based in the town at The Dorchester or 45 Park Lane, in the country at Coworth Park or even decide the combination of both or taking our extended 18 month programme based in the town and country with accommodation support provided, depending on where your heart lies.

As a Rooms Management Graduate, you'll love what you do and take pride in taking care of our guests: Depending on your choice of programme you will complete a 12 month of two six-month rotations in an operational department in our Rooms division (Housekeeping, Guest Relations and Front Office) or 18 months of two nine month rotation in Rooms division both in Town (The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane) and Country (Coworth Park).

Curate individual guest experiences through your vibrant personality and expertise, as our guests trust that you are informed and able to enhance their experience whether in Food and Beverage or Rooms division. Connect with our Senior Leadership team through mentorship from the Executive Committee for networking, support and guidance to become a legendary leader. Partner with our L&D team for regular 1-2-1, training and workshops to develop you into a highly skilled leader to lead and motivate teams to deliver the ultimate guest experience.

Participate in a variety of taskforce opportunities across Dorchester Collection and events such as Chelsea Flower Show and Royal Ascot. Attend Finance and Revenue (budget and P&L), Sales, People & Culture, Corporate office and guest experience sessions as learning is the forefront of each Dorchester Collection hotel. Work on specific industry and development projects including a personal focus and business focus project. Attend a trip to Switzerland where you will receive a Global Management Certificate in Leading and Embracing Organizational Change from Swiss Education Group. Work your way up from front line to a supervisory role and graduate into a fulltime permanent position at one of our three hotels.

Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic. English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
