Devanta is excited to collaborate with a leading bank on their search for an Oracle EPM Engineer. This key role is integral to their Finance Modernisation Programme.
About the Programme:
The Finance Transformation programme, spanning 18 months, focuses on implementing the Oracle Fusion ERP suite to enhance financial, procurement, and recruitment processes. Building upon existing Oracle HCM tools, this initiative aims to drive significant transformation across the bank's finance and broader business areas.
About the Role:
As an EPM Techno-Functional Engineer you will join the Programme Management team, tasked with building and managing Oracle EPM cloud-based solutions. This role combines technical expertise and functional knowledge to advance the bank’s financial planning and reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Finance SMEs to define and understand EPM requirements, ensuring these are translated into precise technical specifications.
- Evaluate and advise on the technical design of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, ensuring alignment with bank architecture and security standards.
- Serve as the technical expert on Oracle EPM Cloud applications, focusing on Planning, Budgeting, Financial Consolidation, and Reporting.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions, sharing EPM best practices and functionalities with stakeholders.
- Lead data integration efforts between Oracle EPM Cloud and other bank systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Guide the migration of existing EPM solutions to Oracle EPM Cloud, overseeing data migration and validation processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the implementation phase in collaboration with Oracle Support.
- Develop custom reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet specific reporting needs.
Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as an Oracle EPM consultant, with hands-on experience in implementing Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service.
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle EPM Cloud applications and financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Experience with EPM Data Integration, Data Management, and Business Rules.
- SC Clearance
Desirable Qualifications:
- Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- Familiarity with other financial systems or ERP platforms.
- Oracle EPM Cloud certifications.
