Are you mechanically minded with experience operating press machinery in a manufacturing environment? We're looking for a reliable and motivated Press Machine Operator to join a busy production team manufacturing high-quality metal components.

As a Press Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for producing quality components using a range of workshop machinery. You'll work from technical drawings and job instructions, ensuring all products are manufactured accurately and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flywheel presses using hard tooling
- Operate drill presses and saws
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications
- Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily production targets
We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and has a strong mechanical aptitude.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous experience operating press machines or similar manufacturing equipment
- Experience setting up flywheel presses and hard tooling (highly regarded)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment
