We are currently looking for 2 experienced Class 2 Drivers to join a busy transport operation in Christchurch.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for reliable drivers looking for ongoing work and the potential to secure a long term position.
The Role
- Metro deliveries around Christchurch
- Assisting with unloading product to clients
- Customer service
- Class 2 driving
- Forklift operation (if certified)
- Some physical lifting at times
What we're looking for:
- Current Class 2 license & experience
- Previous delivery or driving experience
- Comfortable driving a manual vehicle
- Reliable, punctual and physically fit
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Forklift license preferred, but not essential
What's on offer:
- $26-$27 per hour
- Monday to Friday, approximately 7:00am-4:00pm
- Generally 8-9 hour days, with hours varying
- Metro deliveries around Christchurch
- Manual truck driving
- Temp-to-perm opportunity
- Multiple positions available
