Brava Education is working with a specialist school in Kent, who are looking for an experienced Interim Assistant Headteacher to provide calm, credible senior leadership through a period of leadership change. The role This is a visible, hands-on senior leadership role. You will support the day-to-day leadership of the school and help keep standards steady while the school moves through its leadership transition. Your priority will be leading and strengthening safeguarding. You will also support and reassure staff through a period of change, and maintain strong relationships with families and local authorities. About you * Strong safeguarding experience, having worked as a DSL or Deputy DSL. * A current safeguarding certificate. * Senior leadership experience in a specialist setting. * Experience in the independent sector would be an advantage. Terms The role is interim and full time, five days a week on site. It offers a competitive day rate and a start as soon as possible, ideally mid-November, running until March 2027.
