We are looking for experienced Kitchen Porters with restaurant background to join our extremely busy and high energy kitchen. This is a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment, so experience in a professional restaurant kitchen is essential. We would especially welcome applications from Kitchen Porter Supervisors, Senior / Head Kitchen Porters, or those who have led pot wash or KP teams previously and are happy to be hands-on as part of a strong brigade. Bocca di Lupo is one of London’s most loved Italian restaurants, based in the heart of Soho. The Kitchen Porter team plays a critical role in maintaining standards and supporting the chefs throughout service.

The role involves being an integral part of the kitchen operation, responsible for cleanliness, pot wash, waste management, and supporting the chefs with basic food preparation.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous restaurant kitchen experience as a Kitchen Porter (essential)
  • Has worked in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • May have experience as a KP Supervisor, Senior KP, or Head KP
  • Is reliable, resilient, and physically capable
  • Takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organised
  • Is confident on pot wash and with basic food prep
  • Can work full-time hours - must be able to work 5 days a week

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the kitchen and chef team during service
  • Pot wash and maintaining cleanliness across all kitchen areas
  • Managing waste and recycling correctly
  • Ensuring health & safety and food hygiene standards are followed at all times
