Enhanced Compounding is our brand-new, purpose-built facility looking to go live in August 2026. We have been investing in innovative technology to semi-automate our compounding processes. This upgrade increases productivity, reduces strenuous manual labour, and allows us to grow so we can serve more patients in hospital and their homes.
Training & Development
- Full Training Provided: No prior pharmaceutical experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive, step-by-step training on all equipment, safety protocols, and compounding processes. Not only that but we have a clear tier process allowing you to develop at a pace that feels comfortable.
- Formal Sign-Off: You will receive full technical sign-off as you master each process, helping you safely build a long-term career in pharmaceuticals.
What We Offer
- Starting Salary: £27,000
- Shift Allowance: £45.35 per week
- Hours: Mon–Fri rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 13:00–21:00). Note: Flexibility is required to work standard day shifts during your initial training period so please ensure you can be flexible to do this before making an application.

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing: Prepare, compound, and inspect pharmaceutical products following SOPs.
- Labelling & Dispensing: Label all products according to exact specifications.
- Cleanroom Operations: Maintain isolator inventory and validate aseptic techniques.
- Sanitisation: Clean and sanitise equipment and components to regulatory standards.
- Monitoring: Complete routine equipment sampling, testing, and facility cleaning.
- Environment: Comfortable working on your feet while wearing specialized cleanroom PPE/gowns.
What skills do you need?
- GMP Knowledge: Essential understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (or equivalent hygiene/safety standards from other industries) is desired but not essential.
- Education: GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Skills: High attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with other departments such as quality and training so communication skills are essential.
- Values: A strong sense of compassion, understanding our products go directly to vulnerable patients.
