At Baxter, we're looking for an experienced healthcare sales professional to lead the growth of our Liko Safe Patient Handling business across the UK Acute Hospital sector and Community Equipment Stores (CES). This is an excellent chance to become part of a well-regarded brand and manage a specialist portfolio that significantly improves patient outcomes. It also helps decrease caregiver injuries and promotes safer patient handling in healthcare environments. Working across NHS Acute Trusts, Community Equipment Services, and Integrated Care Systems, you'll develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts. You will also coordinate positive relationships with important partners nationwide.

About the Role

As National Key Account Manager, you will direct the commercial approach for our Safe Patient Handling portfolio, including overhead hoists, ceiling track systems, mobile lifts, slings, and patient transfer solutions. This strategic role emphasizes business development. You will work alongside our Med Surg sales teams, Therapy Specialists, and Overhead Solutions colleagues to see opportunities, help with customer evaluations, and offer solutions that positively affect patients and healthcare professionals. You'll have the autonomy to develop territory plans, build senior-level customer relationships, and drive growth across a portfolio with significant market opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a nationwide expansion plan for the Safe Patient Handling portfolio.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within NHS Acute Trusts, Community Equipment Services, and Coordinated Care Systems.
  • Build relationships with clinical, procurement, operational, estates, and senior leadership collaborators.
  • Handle and develop major strategic accounts within the UK.
  • Support tender opportunities, framework agreements, and capital equipment projects.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and customer training where required.
  • Work collaboratively with internal clinical and commercial teams to deliver the best possible customer solutions.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and business updates.

What We're Seeking

We're interested in hearing from commercially driven and relationship-focused sales professionals who thrive in complex healthcare environments and understand the complexities of NHS selling. You'll ideally bring:

  • A successful track record in medical device, healthcare equipment, or healthcare solution sales.
  • Experience selling into NHS Acute Care environments.
  • Strong account management and business development skills.
  • Experience managing multiple collaborators throughout complex sales processes.
  • The ability to influence and engage both clinical and non-clinical decision-makers.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a desire to win and grow business.
  • Experience within patient handling, rehabilitation, mobility, pressure care, or capital equipment sales would be advantageous.

Why Join Baxter?

This is a chance to assume responsibility for a key growth area within Baxter's Patient Support Systems business. You'll be part of a cooperative and skilled group, engaging with products that truly affect patient care and caregiver safety. Whether supporting a hospital renovation, a new construction project, or assisting in standardising equipment throughout a healthcare network, you'll observe the tangible results of your efforts.

This is more than a sales role. It's an opportunity to help healthcare providers create safer environments for patients and caregivers while driving the adoption of industry-leading solutions across the UK.

You'll benefit from:

  • Working with a recognised market-leading brand
  • A highly visible national role with significant growth potential
  • The opportunity to influence large-scale NHS projects
  • Ongoing development and career progression opportunities
  • Collaborative support from clinical and commercial experts
  • Competitive salary and bonus package
  • Company car or car allowance
  • Pension and healthcare benefits
  • Generous holiday entitlement
