We're looking for a hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the day-to-day running of our restaurant, bar, breakfast and events operations.
Working alongside the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll lead from the floor, support the team and help deliver excellent food, drink and service standards. This role would suit an experienced supervisor, team leader or assistant manager looking to develop their hospitality career in a busy hotel environment.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the daily running of the restaurant, bar, breakfast and events operations.
- Leading service shifts and ensuring guests receive friendly, professional and attentive service.
- Coaching, motivating and supporting front-of-house team members to deliver outstanding hospitality.
- Maintaining high standards of food presentation, beverage service and overall guest experience.
- Building positive relationships with guests and handling enquiries or feedback professionally.
- Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Supporting the delivery of weddings, conferences, Christmas parties and other special events.
- Assisting with stock management, ordering and minimising waste.
- Supporting staff training, team briefings and ongoing development.
- Upholding food safety, licensing and company standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience within a restaurant, hotel, bar or busy Food & Beverage environment.
- Has experience supervising or leading a hospitality team.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Is confident leading shifts and supporting teams during busy services.
- Has strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
- Is positive, approachable and leads by example.
- Is flexible to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.
