Bartender - Event Team in Chester

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and reliable individuals to join our Events Team as Bartenders, working across a variety of exciting venues and hospitality events.

No previous bartending or hospitality experience is required, as full training will be provided. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to get started in hospitality, learn new skills and gain experience working at a variety of events.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, enjoy meeting new people and be keen to learn how to prepare and serve drinks while delivering excellent customer service in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to a high standard

• Learning to make cocktails, pour draught drinks and serve wines and spirits

• Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service

• Taking customer orders and handling payments accurately

• Setting up and maintaining clean, tidy and organised bar areas

• Restocking fridges, shelves and bar supplies throughout service

• Supporting the team during busy service periods

• Following licensing laws, Challenge 25, responsible alcohol service, food hygiene and health & safety procedures

• Working alongside experienced team members and supporting the wider events and hospitality team

• Reporting any stock shortages, equipment issues or customer concerns

Requirements

• No previous bartending or hospitality experience required – full training will be provided

• Friendly, approachable and positive attitude

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Willingness to learn about drinks, cocktails and bar operations

• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual and well-presented

• Confident interacting with customers and working as part of a team

• Flexible and adaptable to different venues and event styles

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• A positive attitude and strong team-work ethic
