We’re a global video and lighting service provider delivering technical expertise across exhibitions, concerts, touring, conferences, theatre, TV, film and retail.

We are seeking a Dock Worker to join our UK warehouse team and support the efficient handling, movement, and organisation of equipment across our operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment is correctly staged, processed, and distributed in line with operational requirements and company standards.

The Dock Worker is responsible for supporting the smooth flow of equipment in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory handling, safe movement of goods, and maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

The role will be based across our Harlow and Hertford sites during our transition period, as we relocate our UK operations to Hertford. From later this year, the role will be primarily based at our Hertford facility. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work across both locations during this transition.

What you’ll do

  • Read and interpret production schedules, orders, and work instructions to determine equipment requirements
  • Stage, sort, and prepare equipment for loading and distribution
  • Load and unload vans, trucks, and transport vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the asset management system
  • Identify, inspect, and report damaged or missing equipment
  • Move equipment within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet trucks, and other mechanical handling equipment
  • Support stock control activities including cycle counts and stock takes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment in line with Health & Safety standards
  • Assist with general warehouse maintenance and operational support tasks
  • Support logistics and on-site teams when required, including occasional rigging and de-rigging assistance
  • Ensure accurate completion of paperwork, records, and timesheets
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse and operational teams to support daily workflow

About you

  • Previous experience in a manual or warehouse-based role is required
  • Strong attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
  • Experience within the live events or entertainment industry is desirable but not essential
  • Comfortable using basic computer systems for inventory and record keeping
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 25kg and working on your feet for extended periods
  • Flexible and willing to support overtime, evenings, and weekends when required
  • Ability and willingness to work across both Harlow and Hertford sites during the transition period
