We are seeking skilled Machine Operatives who are hard working with strong communication skills and the ability to meet manufacturing deadlines within a team environment. Ideally, you will have worked in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment previously with proven experience working with machinery.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the safe, efficient and accurate running of the factory machine such as industrial roasting/frying machines.
- Complete process control checks on machinery.
- Complete various paperwork accurately and neatly.
- Report breakdowns, working with the Engineering team.
- Liaise with the quality teams and supervisors regarding any anomalies found whilst operating equipment.
- Ensure the safety, legality and good standards of the production facility.
- Role involves manual handling and lifting of ingredients up to 25kg.
Qualifications:
- An understanding of food safety - prior training such as Food Safety Level 2 will be beneficial, however, you will also receive this training via Humdinger.
- Machinery experience/mechanical knowledge.
- Good oral and written communication skills are required.
- Experience within a factory environment such as Production Operative; Line Leader; Machine Operative; General Operative; Machine Minder; Line Technician.
