Position type: Full time, permanent

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – Days or Nights available

Pay range: £13.59 - £15.72 per hour (£28,634.67 - £32,901.96 annually). Your starting pay grade is allocated depending on skillset.

  • 4 on 4 off days: covers 7 days a week, 4 days on and 4 days off, 6am-6pm:
    • Grade 3 £13.59 per hour
    • Grade 4 £13.99 per hour
    • Grade 5 £14.49 per hour
  • 4 on 4 off nights: covers 7 nights a week, 4 nights on and 4 nights off, 6pm -6am:
    • Grade 3 £14.70 per hour
    • Grade 4 £15.13 per hour
    • Grade 5 £15.72 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture products to recipe, following correct process methods, ingredient usage, CCP checks and machinery start‑up inspections.
  • Operate mixing equipment (e.g., Stefan, bowl chopper, Hobart, Roboqbo, RT200, steam plant, Ambi) and complete all required process data capture, traceability, viscosity checks and temper index adjustments.
  • Decant ingredients safely and ensure the mixing area, utensils and equipment are clean, well‑maintained and compliant with safety standards.
  • At Grade 4, operate all mixing equipment within the area and provide support or cover for Grade 5 Mixers when required.
  • At Grade 5, supervise and coordinate mixing activities, ensure ingredients are available and conditioned correctly, complete batch sheets and paperwork accurately, complete CCP inspections and support training within the mixing team.
  • Receive training in Level 2 Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, and various other certifications in your first few weeks.

  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to follow recipes, instructions and safety procedures accurately.
  • Good attention to detail and a focus on quality and cleanliness.
  • Willingness to learn and operate a range of mixing equipment.
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work well as part of a team.
