Our client is a global leader in medical imaging and healthcare technology, looking for an Applications Specialist to join their Radiology & Cardiology division. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinically minded professional who enjoys working with advanced healthcare technology, supporting healthcare professionals and delivering product training.
The Role
As an Applications Specialist within their Radiology & Cardiology, you will support our client's IT portfolio, working with NHS and other healthcare providers across the UK. You will build relationships with clinical teams, helping them maximise the benefits of the technology and optimise their radiology and cardiology workflows.
This is a varied, field-based role combining clinical application support, workflow consultancy, product demonstrations and training, with involvement in pre-sales activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering clinical training and ongoing application support to healthcare professionals at customer sites.
- Conducting pre-sales demonstrations and supporting the wider sales team with your clinical and technical expertise.
- Providing workflow consultancy to help radiology and cardiology departments optimise their use of Fujifilm's solutions.
- Building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and ensuring they receive the support required.
- Supporting product implementations, follow-up visits and troubleshooting application-related issues.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to share customer feedback and contribute to continuous product improvement.
About You
You may be an experienced Applications Specialist with knowledge of RIS, PACS, CPACS or 3D imaging solutions. Alternatively, you could be a Radiographer, Cardiologist, Echocardiographer or PACS Administrator looking to apply your existing clinical knowledge in a healthcare technology environment.
Essential Experience
- A good understanding of radiology workflows and the NHS patient pathway.
- Experience as an Applications Specialist within RIS, PACS, CPACS, 3D imaging or cardiology solutions, or a relevant clinical background in radiology or cardiology.
- Experience delivering training, product demonstrations or application support to healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage and train clinical teams.
- A personable, proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to learn independently.
- The ability to work independently in a field-based role and build strong customer relationships. xgikmsk
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays.
