About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated FLT Driver (Team Member) to join our team in Erith, London. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficient operation of the warehouse by carrying out a range of tasks, such as loading and unloading LGV vehicles, operating a forklift truck, picking, scanning, and palletising products. This role also involves regular physical lifting as part of daily duties. You will work Monday evening until Saturday morning, between 22:00 and 07:30, based on a weekly 40-hour contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload products onto trailers, following company procedures
- Handle goods correctly to minimise damage and apply safe manual handling techniques
- Complete relevant paperwork to confirm loading and unloading activities for audit purposes
- Support the effective running of the warehouse by carrying out reasonable requests
- Perform receiving, picking, put-away, replenishment, and dispatch tasks
- Participate in general warehouse duties involving manual handling
- Continuously seek to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and customer service
- Communicate concerns, issues, or variances to instructions promptly to your line manager
- Adhere to company procedures, including absence, performance, and standards of behaviour, while reflecting company values
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements, and elevate concerns to your line manager
- Conduct equipment checks in line with procedures, reporting any defects
Key Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage
- FLT licence (counterbalance) with a minimum of 12 months’ experience
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to manage pressure and meet tight deadlines
