Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations
  • Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently
  • Work on heating meter installations and electrical connections
  • Install and configure meter gateways / smart metering systems
  • Add and connect power sources for new and existing installations
  • Carry out Distribution Board (DB) preparation, wiring, and upgrades
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Conduct inspections and complete certification

Requirements:

  • Engineering-level qualification in Electrical (Degree/Diploma) with UK ENIC equivalency to UK standards
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognized qualification)
  • ECS Gold Card required
  • Experience with heating meters, meter gateways, and smart systems
  • Strong knowledge of DB installation and power distribution systems
  • Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and H&S standards
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
