Position: Electrician / Electrician Supervisor

As an Electrician / Electrician Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing a wide range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for commercial and residential properties. You will also be responsible for supervising a team of electricians and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to identify and address potential issue
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and provide effective solutions
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of electricians, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure smooth and efficient project completion
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician or Electrician Supervisor
- Valid ECS Gold Certification
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices (Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
