We're looking for a Technical Consultant to help deliver customer data migrations and system implementations. You'll work directly with clients and internal implementation teams to convert customer data onto our platform, stand up new customer systems and work on internal technical projects - all while keeping projects on time, on budget, and running smoothly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Migrate customer data from legacy/source systems onto our platform, including writing and troubleshooting custom scripts where needed.
  • Write and run SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate customer data.
  • Stand up and configure new customer systems/environments as part of implementation.
  • Migrate databases to our Azure cloud platform.
  • Communicate directly with customers on requirements, timelines, and expectations.
  • Work with Project Managers and Implementation teams to flag risks and keep delivery on track.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, tools, and migration methodologies.
  • Keep activity reports and project documentation up to date within agreed SLAs.
  • Follow company security policies - protecting customer data and reporting any issues.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • 1–3 years of relevant technical consulting or data engineering experience preferred.
  • Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL (ideally Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL - stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes).
  • Basic knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and tools like Postman.
  • Basic knowledge of IIS.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers on technical requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Able to work independently and manage your own workload.

WHAT WOULD ALSO BE AWESOME:

  • Experience with an ETL toolset (e.g. SSIS).
  • Experience with other RDBMS platforms (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
  • Experience with BI Tools (PowerBI, Sigma, Izenda).
  • Familiarity with EDI/integration platforms (e.g. Boomi).
  • Advanced Excel/data manipulation skills.
