Nursery Practitioner – Level 2

Up to £27,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week | Full Time

We’re looking for an experienced Level 2 Nursery Practitioner with a stable employment history who is looking for a setting where they can settle, contribute and become a long-term part of the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • A full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
  • A stable employment history with good longevity in previous roles
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding
  • Experience supporting children's individual learning and development
  • Confidence planning engaging, age-appropriate experiences
  • A warm, reliable and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Supporting Children Every Day

  • Provide high-quality, child-centred care and education
  • Create a safe, secure and inclusive environment where every child feels welcome
  • Plan activities around children's interests, development and next steps
  • Encourage children to build confidence, independence and curiosity
  • Make full use of the nursery's indoor and outdoor learning environments
  • Complete observations and maintain accurate development records
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain consistent standards across the nursery
