We're working with an ambitious and growing hospitality group to find a Head Chef for a quality-led restaurant in Prestayn. With a strong focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients and chef-led cooking, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their food and wants to be part of something exciting.
Led by a highly regarded Executive Chef, the business has big plans for the coming years, with multiple new venues in the pipeline. For the right person, this offers the chance to develop their skills, work alongside talented chefs and grow with a business that genuinely values quality.
The Role As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the kitchen, driving standards, developing your team and ensuring every dish reflects the quality and ambition of the restaurant.
You'll have the opportunity to put your stamp on the kitchen, working closely with the Executive Chef to deliver an excellent food offering while maintaining a strong focus on consistency, creativity and the guest experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, motivating and developing the kitchen team.
Delivering high-quality, ingredient-led food with a focus on fresh produce and seasonal menus.
Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
Managing food costs, stock control, ordering and kitchen GP.
Ensuring excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards.
Creating a positive kitchen culture built around teamwork, pride and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus and drive the restaurant forward.
What We're Looking For We're looking for a Head Chef who genuinely cares about food and understands the importance of quality ingredients, strong kitchen fundamentals and a well-run operation.
You'll ideally have:
Experience as a Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and quality cooking.
The ability to lead, motivate and develop a kitchen team.
A sound understanding of kitchen financials, including GP, stock control and labour management.
A hands-on approach and a desire to maintain consistently high standards.
The ambition to grow alongside an expanding hospitality business.
