Role Overview
We are looking for a POD Proposals Engineer to join our growing team and support the development of modular power infrastructure solutions for the data centre sector.
Working closely with customers, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams, you will be responsible for producing technically robust and commercially competitive proposals for our bespoke and standardised e-POD solutions.

About Our e-POD Solutions
Our Data Centre e-PODs are fully designed modular power solutions that enable developers to scale faster whilst minimising project risk.
Customers can choose between fully bespoke, vendor-neutral e-PODs tailored to specific project requirements or the Rehlko Basecore e-POD range, a standardised, fully engineered modular package built around Rehlko's integrated product portfolio.
All solutions are designed, packaged, installed, and commissioned by our expert in-house team.
The Role
- Produce accurate cost estimates, bills of materials, and technical proposals for modular e-POD solutions.
- Review client specifications, drawings, and tender documentation to develop compliant and commercially competitive submissions.
- Develop conceptual designs and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Prepare technical and commercial clarifications and provide ongoing support throughout the tender lifecycle.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors while identifying value-engineering opportunities.
- Support the Sales Team with technical expertise, proposal reviews, customer meetings, and presentations.
- Prepare detailed project handovers for successful bids and maintain accurate proposal records and documentation.
- Ensure all proposals align with company standards, quality procedures, and ISO accreditations.
About You
- Experience in a Proposals Engineer, Bid Engineer, Applications Engineer, Estimating Engineer, or similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems, ideally within critical power, data centre, or modular infrastructure environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents with confidence.
- Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Full UK driving licence.
