Wayfair's Category Management team is growing and seeks a new team member passionate about nurturing client relationships and driving category growth. The role involves managing a portfolio of supplier accounts, collaborating cross‑functionally, and acting as a growth coach to suppliers.
What You'll Do
- Manage your own portfolio of supplier accounts.
- Analyse key metrics and derive strategies to improve supplier and category performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Wayfair on suppliers and category initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers (including C‑suite), act as growth coach and strategic advisor, and negotiate pricing.
- Advance catalog expansion: identify selection gaps, prioritise new item production, and develop relationships with target suppliers.
- Identify sales, merchandising, and operational opportunities for the category and work with internal teams to drive change.
- Analyse and anticipate competitor marketing, selection, and pricing strategy.
- Attend trade shows and visit key suppliers 2‑5 times per year.
What You'll Need
- Fluency in English.
- Analytical mindset and data‑driven approach with deep analytical experience.
- Success in building relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to execute strategy.
- Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage and prioritise projects and delegate tasks appropriately.

- Ideally, a track record in successful negotiations.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred.
