The Opportunity:
If so, we’re looking for an experienced and driven Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at our Head Office, Blackburn. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical systems and services. This role ensures that IT systems are secure, reliable, and scalable to meet the ongoing needs of the business. The engineer supports both day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure projects, contributing to system improvements, automation efforts, and technical troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance and availability across all IT services.

The Role:
- 2nd Line Troubleshooting / Executive IT Support
- Proactively monitor and remediate incidents using approved tools and practices.
- Mentoring / Point of Escalation for internal team members
- Ensure Security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Ownership of systems
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers.
- Organise and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Backup and recovery ownership
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and changes, ensuring timely stakeholder communication
- Out of hours work will be required.

- Strong Azure and Office 365 knowledge
- Security – Mimecast, CrowdStrike, Cisco Umbrella, Rapid 7, BitLocker, Cisco Meraki / Fortinet
- Telephony – Teams / Webex / Poly & Logitech conferencing systems
